Reindeer’s Visit
This Sunday morning Popa was up early sipping his morning coffee and looking out the TV Room window. He came running into the kitchen all excited.
He was in a panic and looking for his Camera. He said to me in an unusually quiet tone, “Mimi go look, one of Santa’s Reindeer is outside our family room window”.
I tip toed into our family room and looked out the front window staring back at me was a Reindeer.
Popa quietly walked back into the family room and took his picture, then the Reindeer looked up at us for a second as if to say hello, and then calmly walked across our front lawn and quickly disappeared down the other side of the road..
I said to Popa, ”wow it must be one of Santa’s Reindeer and I then I asked him which one did he think it was it was.
He wasn’t sure so I said…..
“Do you think it was Comet or Blitzen, or maybe it was Donner?
It wasn’t Rudolph for sure because he didn’t have a red shiny nose.
Then we thought perhaps one of our sons, daughter-inlaws or grandchildren might know which one it was.
Popa and I said must be getting very close to Christmas if Santa’s Reindeer are scouting out Santa’s Christmas Eve route.
Which one do you think it might be Liam and Madeleine?
Please don’t worry Marta, I plan I leaving a big note on the Fireplace for Santa telling him that you are all going to be in Viljandi for Christmas this year.
I know how you worry about these things, and I am sure you were thinking that Santa would leave your Christmas presents here by mistake.
Please tell Anna and Maria Leena not to worry either …Santa will come to Viljandi.
Isn’t it just so cool that the Reindeer came to our house to visit.
Please don’t forget now, I want to know who you think this Reindeer might be.

Wow Tissey that is sooooooooo nice. What a beautiful sight that must have been. I think it was Cupid!
Yes, I agree it looked a lot like Cupid !
Marta thinks his name was Santa’s Reindeer.
.
Anna thinks his name is Rudolph the Reindeer. Or… she says… Roxie the Reindeer.
I cannot help but feel sorry for a poor animal… I hope he found a way back to where he belongs. It may be very scary to run on this road whith quite a lot of cars (it is scary even for humans
Roxie…. I am not sure there is a Roxie but is a great name for Santa’s new “girl” Reindeer”..
Perhaps a good story for me to write..
Sorry Anna he didn’t have a Red nose so it probably wasn’t Rudolph. : )
The Deer live behind in the woods and along the Bay (water)…and across the street there are many acres of woods.
Yes the road gets busy at certain times of the day … but the deer are everywhere here now, and because they don’t hunt them and there are no natural predators like wolves here.
