The last time I wrote on my Blog was in September. Marta had just started school and we were so excited about Ian & Suzies upcoming wedding.
Life just seems to move along at a happy lightening speed. Epp, Justin & Anna came home Suzie and Ian got married …Suzanne looked so beautiful as did Ian, Epp looked like a fashion model and my little granddaudies Marta and Anna were such beautiful perfect Flower girls.

Ian and Suzanne went to Hawaii ….Justin went to San Diego …Epp took Marta out of her school and then she and the girls went to Florida for a week to visit an Estonian friend.
The are due back tomorrow.
So here I am at the keyboard trying to find a place to begin…Marta was so happy all summer a little bit sad at times about her friends in Estonia but school started and she seemed to be having a good time and learning so much each day. Emme came home and she was a bit torn about where to put her “love”. She would say thing like I love Mimi & Emme & Issi & Popa & Anna..and we all smiled and said we all love you too, but after awhile, a few weeks she seemed to come home at the end of the day tired and cranky…She no longer wanted me to help her do anything ..no teeth brushing… no hair brushing …..no reading of her favorite book Llama Llama Red Pajama….her smile just seemed to vanish. She seems very upset if I hold Anna and yet it is the only time she seems to want my attention…I know it was a long 2 months without her mother and I expected her to be upset… but it didn’t happen when she first arrived it was at least two weeks later… So very strange.
It is most difficult for me because I spent my entire summer with her getting warm hugs and kisses and swimming everyday.. I taught her to swim this summer. When school started we got into a routine after school …juice and string cheese and Wonder Pets her favorite show… She helped with getting ready for dinner was and polite…. please and thank yous …may I be excused from the table…and now she is just different. She is angry and yelling at me and making me so sad…I know she is just a little girl……but it just hurts so much. I hope Marta comes back from Florida…and is the sunshine Marta that she has always been…and speaking of sunshine she leaves in 13 days to return to Estonia. My birthday is Sunday and all can think about is that it will be less then 12 days till my family leaves for a very long time… not any reason to celebrate a birthday at all…
I may not see them till next August…
I may need Linny, Ming Ming and Tuck….of The Wonder Pets to come save the Mimi…….
